Nicola Desmond is Professor of Anthropology and Global Health at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and a National Institute of Health Research Professor, with an honorary professorship at the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine. She established and led the Behaviour and Health Group and Social Science Programme at MLW from 2010 to 2020 when she relocated back to the UK.
