The Discovery Research Support Hub (DRSH) recently visited the Malawi School of Government-Kanengo Campus (MSG) and Lilongwe University of Agriculture and Natural Resources (LUANAR) to engage with researchers and showcase its services, which aim to help early- and mid-career researchers achieve independence.
During visits to LUANAR and MSG, Kate Mangulama, the Discovery Hub Manager, explained the wide range of support DRSH offers, including grant writing retreats, mentorship programs, flexible seed grants, catalyst awards, and networking opportunities.
Mr Enea Katundu, Director of the Directorate of Research, Consultancy, and Advisory Services (DRCAS) at MSG, described the visit as a valuable initiative that will greatly benefit the institution’s researchers.
“DRSH’s visit was timely and valuable as MSG continues to develop its research capacity and seek greater support. We look forward to benefiting from the Hub’s assistance and strengthening our collaboration in supporting researchers,” said Mr Katundu.
