Duncan Kakowa is the Hub Liaison Officer for the Discovery Research Support Hub (DRSH), connecting researchers, institutions, and partners with the Hub’s opportunities, activities, and support services. He plays an important role in strengthening engagement with the research community and ensuring that researchers are aware of and able to access the support available through DRSH.
Duncan brings expertise in strategic and digital communication, stakeholder engagement, branding, and content development. He uses these skills to strengthen the visibility of DRSH opportunities, communicate researchers’ work and achievements, and support engagement and collaboration across the Hub’s network.
He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Communication from the Malawi University of Business and Applied Sciences (MUBAS).
