Hub Administrator

Mtundu Emily Khongono is the Hub Administrator for the Discovery Research Support Hub (DRSH), supporting the coordination and delivery of the Hub’s fellowship, grant-writing, and researcher development activities. She plays an important role in ensuring that researchers can navigate DRSH opportunities and processes effectively.

Mtundu supports fellowship administration across the full application cycle, from eligibility screening and applicant communication to coordinating panel reviews and interviews. She also supports the delivery of grant-writing retreats, DRSH Clinics, workshops, and other Hub activities, as well as operational areas such as reporting, travel, procurement, and budgeting.

As a key point of contact for researchers engaging with DRSH, Mtundu particularly enjoys meeting researchers from diverse backgrounds, learning about their work, and helping them access the opportunities and support available through the Hub. She values building lasting relationships and creating a welcoming and responsive experience for researchers interacting with DRSH.

Mtundu holds a BSc in Business Management and Entrepreneurship.
